These few pictures above don't begin to scratch the surface of the memories that were brought back with each of us. I have gotten copies of media from 3 of the folks that went and am waiting on more and so far I have over 400 photos!!!
From the time we left Farm and Fleet parking lot until we made it back home the entire trip was a blast. 11 motorcycles and 14 people, most of whom did not know each other, had a common goal and that was to ride to eastern Tennessee and do some more riding. It was a good thing that no one was affraid to ride in the rain as we rode in the rain everyday. We became quite proficient at getting into and out of our rain gear. The rain didn't stop us from riding as we were able to ride the Tail of the Dragon, Foothills Parkway and the Cheraholla Skyway. All in all we put on close to 2000 miles from start to finish on the trip. Not to bad for 6 days of riding. There was plenty of great scenery to take in as well as stops along the way. I don't recall not having at least a few laughs no matter where we stopped. Thanks Tony, you are a good sport. Most of the laughs on the entire trip either came at his expense or his actions.
I can't thank the entire group enough not only for helping me help the Easter Seals but for making the whole trip a success. Even though we had some bad weather we were still able to make the best of each day with the dry time we had. Wether we were sitting outside of our motel room telling stories and enjoying a cold one, or pizza and pool, or listening to "Born To Be Wild" performed by the one and only Tony, each night was special in and of itself. By the way Tony did you ever find out who wrapped your trike in toilet paper?
