We are a little over a month from leaving!! Can't wait to get on the road.

For those of you going here are the take off arrangments. If you want to meet in Ottawa we will be leaving from the old Value City  parking lot across from the Thorntons gas station. I want to be on the road at 7:30 a.m. If you are going to be meeting there, email of text me so I can keep a head count. For those of you that live closer to the Streator area, you will be contacting Mike Sheridan at 815-672-2741 or 815-674-0252 for your meeting time and place. Please call Mike as soon as you can to verify time and place as he will be keeping a head count as well. After we leave Ottawa, my group is meeting up with Mikes group on the south bound side of I-39 at the Rt 18 exit. 

Once we get to the Lake Ozark area, I am going to have a route set up for us to ride either on Friday or Saturday. Either way there is no set agenda. If a group wants to go to Branson (2 hrs. away) thats fine, if you want to go to Kansas City, Mo. (3 hrs away) thats fine. Your time is your time, enjoy yourself. We can meet each night as a group and plan things for the next day if needed. Any questions feel free to call me or send me an emial. I am looking forward to the ride. See you all in 6 weeks!!!

I have just finalized arrangements for our hotel in 2012. We are going to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. The dates for the trip are as follows:

Leave Ottawa Thur. June 7th

Arrive Lake of Ozarks June 7th

As in the past, the rooms are reserved under Spring Ride South. I have blocked a group of 20 rooms. 15 with 2 queens and 5 with kings. We have until May 7 to book rooms and get the group rate which is all rooms $79.99 plus tax per night. After May 7 unbooked rooms return to their inventory. PLEASE try to book early as this event is going to be advertised throughout the midwest. 

I am planning a big change in the ride this year and have to work on a few of the logistics before I let it out. I promise this will be a great ride. More later as it developes. 

Tell your friends and family. the more the merrier. I know we will have as good a time as we did last year.
